Embed widget

The Optiqo atlas, the canton map, and individual commune dossiers can be embedded in any partner site as iframes. Free, no agreement required, attribution kept.

Quick start

Paste this iframe wherever you want the interactive canton map:

That renders the same canton map as our /explore page, with our "Powered by Optiqo" attribution chip in the corner. The map is interactive — hover for canton stats, click to drill down to our full atlas.

Income-aware atlas

Pass ?income=120000&status=single to re-color the map by total tax burden at a specific income:

Single commune dossier

Embed a dossier card for any commune by its BFS number:

Terms

  • Free for non-commercial & commercial use. No registration required. No rate limit (we monitor for abuse).
  • Attribution. The "Powered by Optiqo" chip is part of the embed and cannot be hidden via CSS without our written permission. For white-label removal, contact us.
  • Caching. The map data is bundled with the embed and auto-refreshes at Optiqo deploys. Your iframe doesn't need to re-validate.
  • Accuracy. The same caveats as our main site apply: cantonal tax scales are sourced from ESTV Kantonsblätter; data accuracy is best-effort, not legal-grade.
  • Mobile-friendly. The embed is responsive. Test at 360px width to verify it fits your container.

White-label and custom embeds

For banks, fiduciaries, and other partners who need a fully white-labelled atlas (custom branding, custom palette, no Optiqo chip), contact partners@optiqo.ch. Pricing depends on volume and customisation; typical setup is one-time CHF 2 500 + CHF 500/year for hosting and data refresh.
