Data sources
All tax rate tables on Optiqo are sourced from publicly available authoritative documents:
- Federal direct tax (Bundessteuer): Eidgenössische Steuerverwaltung (ESTV), Kreisschreiben.
- Cantonal tax scales: ESTV Kantonsblätter (one per canton, 2026).
- Commune Steuerfuss: each cantonal Steuerverwaltung's annual publication (CSV / XLS / PDF, often on the canton's open-data portal).
- Social insurance figures: Bundesamt für Sozialversicherungen (BSV).
Optiqo does not modify the underlying numerical data beyond transparent unit conversions (e.g. Einheiten × 100 to align with the % convention). All transformations are documented in the engine methodology page.
